Absa Contact Centre wins awards

The recently held Business Processes enabling South Africa (BPeSA) awards, for companies that have implemented excellent business process outsourcing (BPO) standards and individuals who have contributed significantly to the growth and development of industry, presented the Absa Contact Centre with five awards.

These awards were:

  • Best SA BPO Centre (Gauteng Region) - Absa Platinum Banking
  • Workforce Manager of the Year (Gauteng Region and National Gold Award) - Mithum Singh
  • Manager of the Year (Gauteng Region) - Ruth Adams
  • Sales Agent (Gauteng Region and National Gold Award) - Monique Giraud
  • Customer Service Agent (Gauteng Region and National Silver Award) - Belinda Smith

"It is no small feat for a company to scoop a number of these awards, especially across various categories. Without doubt, this is reflective of the passion, commitment and hard work that the company and its employees put into mastering customer excellence," states Gavin Opperman, chief executive of Absa Retail Bank.

The Absa Contact Centre is a primary channel within the retail bank, offering sales and service to customers, while supporting other business units within the bank in delivering relevant solutions aimed at enhancing overall customer experience.
