US cheese producer uses robotics to boost production
To keep pace with the growth of its Hispanic cheese product line, Wisconsin Cheese Group automates its pick-and-place pack-handling operations with a robotic system featuring camera-based vision.
The new robotic pick-and-place system receives cheese packs in groups of nine in a 3x3 configuration and places them for labelling on a single-file infeed conveyor. Its vision system ensures that the packs enter as required.
