“The professional notebook space is growing rapidly and we see a surge in product development and supply within this environment. Our vendor partner and established international brand, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, continues to push the technical attributes of anywhere connectivity, speed and wireless application,” comments Bill Gradwell, director at Annex Distribution.
The manufacturer's Esprimo range is targeted at the ultra-mobile professional and is designed to provide the user with the benefit of a balance between performance, versatility and cost efficiency.
“These notebooks are known for aesthetic and ergonomic quality, but predominantly for their performance at what are very competitive rates,” Gradwell continues. “The deliverable in terms of value-add that users expect is the capacity to handle the demand for fast information transfer and multimedia application.”
At the same time Gradwell's company is aiming to complement the range with solutions from the Lifebook S Series, a line of product that the distribution company believes takes mobile/ wireless computing to a new level.
Its technical specifications and key features include Intel® Centrino® processor technology; embedded UMTS/HSUPA; integrated ConfCamera and digital microphones, as well as ShockSensor technology for added protection of the hard disk drive.
“Aside from the energy efficient processor technology, the EcoButton extends battery life by lowering the power output of components and display brightness. Users also have the option to use the modular bay to facilitate a second battery to extend usage of the product in between charges,” says Gradwell.
