Sunny side up for Egg
South Africa's Egg production company has yet again been included in The Gunn Report. Described as 'arguably adlands most highly prized accolade' by Campaign magazine, the recently released Gunn Report for 2004 lists Egg as one of the 100 most awarded production companies worldwide. Director, Lawrence Hamburger's SABC1 commercial also received recognition amongst the world's top 100 spots of the year.
In 2001, Egg was included in the top 25 most awarded production companies.
Previously based in the UK, Hamburger will now be splitting his time between London and Johannesburg. Another of Egg's directors, Brent Harris, has recently returned from New York to Cape Town.
Egg's founding partner, Kim Geldenhuys, after completing a worldwide BMW launch commercial shot in New Zealand for Fallon Minneapolis, and more recently a public service announcement for Reach for a Dream featuring Muhammad Ali, is presently back in Cape Town working on a local VW commercial.
