Velocity group awarded six finalists at Cannes
The Velocity group has been awarded six shortlists at this year's Cannes Film Festival. The six finalists were out of a total of 11 awarded to South African agencies and production companies.
Greg Gray of Velocity films has three finalists for Shield Bus, Shield Queue directed with Lowe Bull and Enterprise – Bedroom that Greg Gray directed with TBWA Hunt Lascaris. Whilst Lourens van Rensburg, a director of Freshwater Films, has three shortlists for: SABC3 – Comedy, SABC 3 P16 and City Lodge – Soggy Pants all directed with TBWA Hunt Lascaris.
According to Peter Carr Executive Producer, "We are immensely proud of our directors and we would like to congratulate Lowe Bull and TBWA Hunt Lascaris who share this honour with us."
