GFC promotes career opportunities in the film, TV industry

The guide is aimed at learners and educators, it introduces them to the types of career opportunities available in the industry; the production process and skills required during each phase; tips on how to get noticed, scholarship and bursary opportunities available; a detailed list of Gauteng-based training and educational providers; and support and industry organisations active in South Africa.

The guide, developed with inputs of professionals working in the industry, was successfully distributed at the recent Photo and Film Expo, where it generated interest. Copies can be collected from the GFC's offices and an electronic version is available on the GFC's website at www.gautengfilm.org.za.
