Encounters South African International Documentary Destival 2003

ENCOUNTERS will be held in Cape Town from Sunday 20th - Tuesday 29th July 2003, and in Johannesburg from Friday 1st to Thursday 7th of August 2003. ENCOUNTERS will show a selection of documentary films from around the world, with a particular focus on South African work.

Filmmakers must guarantee, should their film / video be selected, that permission from the rights holder are secured for a minimum of two screenings at this Festival.

The deadline for submissions is 5 pm Friday 16 May 2003.
