Nona CTO represents SA at Integrated Live 2016
It's not unusual for established business people to share their knowledge with the rest of the digital industry. In fact, considering the rate at which this sector has grown over the last five years, in particular, it's a necessity. While many conferences and forums stand out among the rest, and offer successful entrepreneurs and tech geeks the chance to share some of their knowledge and expertise - some carry more prestige than others.
Integrated Live, in London, is arguably one of the most prestigious digital marketing conferences in the world, showcasing over 120 speakers, only a few of whom hail from outside of the United Kingdom. It also covers a variety of topics - everything from harnessing digital and traditional marketing to unpacking the latest technological and creative discoveries. So when it was established that Nona Creative CTO and Co-Founder, Paul van Zyl, would be sharing some of his uniquely forward-thinking ideas (to over 10,000 people), it became about so much more than a networking exercise for the up-and-coming digital studio.
In essence, he will showcase some of the successful innovations and ideas born on home soil, helping South Africa gain further recognition in the global sphere but also supporting our place in the industry as a whole. More than that, he aims to get people critically thinking about the ways in which marketing, technology and well-thought-out advertising can help brands stand out above the noise.
In one of the recent surveys he explores in his presentation, only a small percentage participants believe brands deliver, while 87% want a meaningful relationship with brands. Through his experience, research findings and engaging examples of brands who are getting it right - Paul will offer conference-goers unique insight into how they can redefine their role in the lives of consumers.
