SA Cycling targets all cyclists, from professional road and track cyclists, to mountain bikers and recreational riders. The editorial is diverse offering something of interest to all levels of cyclist including the growing youth market. Besides highlighting news and the latest cycling trends, SA Cycling features interviews with renowned cycling personalities and gives lots of useful information on many issues including nutrition. The magazine regularly features both road and mountain bike tests, product, part and accessory reviews and reports on triathlon and duathlon events. It keeps its readers informed on the scientific side of cycling and reviews various rides around South Africa giving route directions and tips on what to expect on the specific ride. SA Cycling's calendar of cycling events and schedule of specialist cycling television broadcasts are firm favourites with readers.
According to SA Cycling's Editor, Glenda Williams: "There is a definite interest in the overseas cycling events in which our local teams now participate, so we can expect a growing international slant thus giving us a good mix of local and overseas coverage. In our aim to keep abreast of new or growing trends in the cycling arena, our upcoming issue will feature BMX for the first time, attracting readers from the younger set."
