Sports Media awards portal now open

In order to gain access to the portal, users need to first register on www.SABsportsmedia.co.za and then can either enter the competition or submit nominations and motivations for the Hall of Fame, Best Newcomer and Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

Robyn Chalmers, corporate communications head for SAB, says, "We understand that this is a new way of doing things and believe it will have a positive impact on the competition. At the same time, we know that there will be entrants who will prefer to submit physical entries. These physical entries will be captured under the auspices of the competition's auditors, Grant Thornton, and will be uploaded on behalf of the entrants onto the competition portal; provided they are received before the competition closes."

Entries close at 5pm on Wednesday 19 September 2012.
