Top Women in Business & Government is a driving force in empowerment, a high-profile event linked with an annual publication. It showcases, rewards and celebrates companies and individuals for their work in gender development and empowerment in business and government. It also seeks to create business-networking opportunities, to address gender issues and to formulate empowerment goals in an entertaining and relevant way.
Extensive research into South Africa's leading woman-owned, woman-run and gender empowerment companies and into leading women within the public and private sector has been conducted and the names of the best represented were submitted to a panel of judges.
