Top Woman in Business & Government

Topco Media and its leading gender-empowerment title, Top Women in Business & Government (TWBG), announced today that nominations are open for the eighth annual Top Women Awards (TWA), to be staged at Gallagher Convention Centre on Thursday, September 22, 2011.
The prestigious TWA provide leading gender-empowered organisations in the private and public sector to profile themselves and celebrate their contribution to the empowerment of women in the workplace.
Organisations and individuals who participate in the nomination process are provided with exciting networking opportunities whilst gaining PR and marketing value through participation in the event.
Karla Fletcher, newly appointed Associate Publisher, stated that, "Women are an under-utilised leadership resource and powerful driver of growth. Women are delivering results and entrenching gains. The awards' success is a potent way of grabbing attention for progress like this, and showcasing South Africa's leading ladies who inspire transformation and strive to affect change through their business practices and within communities."
Tania de Kock, Group Editor for Topco Media says, "The message for organisations hoping to raise their game is to raise their female intake - especially in leadership positions. The TWA is the nation's leading gender empowerment platform allowing organisations the opportunity to profile their success."
Entry closing date is August 19.
