The deadline for nominations for the 2010 South African Traditional Music Achievement Awards (SATMA) has been extended to 31 July 2010. Through the nomination and subsequent voting process, the public decides who will walk away with the awards. The announcement of nominees is scheduled for Friday 13 August, the Cultural Carnival and Soccer Spectacular for 4-5 September and the awards ceremony on 2 October.
