This annual event is South Africa's pre-eminent Black Economic Empowerment awards initiative. Geeta Singh from Voltsing Electrical was given the ‘Top Black Businesswoman of the Year' award and Mfundo Wiseman Thango; the CEO of Mpilende Foods (Pty) Ltd received the ‘Top Young Black Entrepreneur (under 35)' award. Mthunzi Mdwaba from Torque Technical Computer Training (Pty) Ltd received the ‘Top Black Businessman' award.
