NEWSWATCH: The South African Communist party wants the entire SABC board to resign, reports Politicsweb, and the appointment of Ashwin Trikamjee as interim chairperson of the board is illegal, reports news24.com. Meanwhile, SABC staff members began staging a sit-in over wage demands, yesterday, Wednesday, 10 June 2009, and Gab Mampone has allegedly locked himself in his office today; he's allegedly being 'held hostage' reports IOL.
