Rugby body calls for publications partner
SA Rugby is looking to appoint a publications partner to produce match programmes and other ancillary publications to coincide with the British and Irish Lions touring South Africa in 12 months' time.
The Lions visit South Africa only once every 12 years and a Lions tour is the biggest rugby event outside of the Rugby World Cup. SA Rugby is therefore seeking an established publishing partner to deliver the highest quality publications to match the significance of the occasion.
SA Rugby will assess and analyse all bids, with specific emphasis on:
- a proven track record in producing similar publications to tight deadlines
- creating products that ensure maximum exposure for SA Rugby and the tour
- the logistical and personnel expertise to deliver a world-class product
- a publishing solution to offer supporters a high value product while offering SA Rugby a reasonable return
