SABC renounces SANEF membership

NEWSWATCH: The SABC informed the South African National Editors' Forum (SANEF) on Friday, 31 August 2007, that it is withdrawing its membership “apparently over its stance regarding the publication of Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang's medical records”, according to the Mail & Guardian Online. SANEF is seeking a meeting with the SABC to discuss the contents of the five-page letter.
