Murdoch acquires Dow Jones

NEWSWATCH: News Corp, run by Rupert Murdoch, will be taking over Dow Jones & Co and The Wall Street Journal in a US$5 billion takeover deal, reports Business Report and Mail & Guardian Online, subject to shareholder agreement. This historical deal is a result of Murdoch gaining support from the Bancroft family.
