The awards are named after John Caples, a pioneer direct response copywriter, and are open to any agency, client or individual involved in direct marketing and relationship marketing communication throughout the world. This year there are two new categories, art direction and copywriting.
“The process of entry is hassle-free, involving downloading of an entry kit and all processes are done online,” says Nici Stathacopoulos, the awards chairperson for South Africa. “We have had numerous winners in the past and we encourage agencies to enter these direct marketing awards. There are good ideas coming out of South Africa and we need to showcase them internationally.”
