One Show Design winners
NEW YORK: Dentsu Network, BBDO Network and Ogilvy & Mather Network were the big winners at the 2009 One Show Design Awards last night, Monday, 4 May 2009.The international design competition, which honours the year's best in print design, environmental design, corporate identity, publication design, and package design, was held at the IAC Building in New York City.
“For nine years, One Show Design has recognised the importance of design in successful advertising campaigns,” said Mary Warlick, CEO of The One Club. “It showcases the best of visual thinking to communicate a brand's identity.”
The top Pencil winners at this year's One Show Design include:
- Dentsu Network: six total (two Gold, one Silver, three Bronze)
- BBDO Network: five total (two Gold, two Silver, one Bronze)
- Ogilvy & Mather Network: three total (one Gold, one Silver, one Bronze)
This year's One Show Design served as the opening night of the first-ever Creative Week NYC ({www.creativeweeknyc.org}}). Hosted by The One Club, Creative Week NYC includes three awards shows honouring the year's best achievements in advertising, interactive media and design in addition to events devoted to digital, music, film and the fine arts.
