The MediaShop 'Pumps Up the Volume'

One of the key factors ensuring The MediaShop's award as 2005 Media Agency of the Year at Tony Koenderman's AdReview Awards was the outstanding rating by media owners, it says. The MediaShop achieved an average score of above 80% across all five rating criteria; Professionalism, Innovation, Negotiating Ability, Transparency and Strategic Ability.

The AdReview Awards recognises and rewards outstanding achievements in the advertising industry.

"It is really nice to receive recognition from peers. Particularly, when we have made such a conscious effort, through our 'Pump up the Volume' programme, to improve our service levels and entrench a culture of unequalled service delivery within our organisation. We sincerely appreciate the fact that our suppliers rate us this highly and are humbled by their recognition," said Harry Herber, Managing Director of The MediaShop.

In a year when The MediaShop finalised its BEE transformation, despite coming off one of the largest billing bases in South Africa, it also ramped up its business by 20%.
