Who's who for South African Tourism

South African Tourism has finally revealed its preferred agencies for its work beyond 2010 in the areas of global and domestic creative (lead agency), e-marketing and exhibitions management. The announcement was made late yesterday, Thursday, 22 April 2010.
Who's who for South African Tourism

After an extensive tender process, where 18 agencies - out of an initial 54 agencies - were shortlisted and briefed by SA Tourism for its global and domestic work, the organisation has announced the following:

  • Full service lead agency: Ireland/Davenport, supportedby
    • GRID Worldwide Branding and Design for campaign creative and CI updates, as well as
    • Magnetic Events and Brand Activation for activation strategy and implementation

  • Global digital strategy and online campaigns: Gloo Digital Design
  • Media buying: Universal McCann
  • Event management - Indaba, World Travel Marketing (WTM) and ITB: Witch and Wizard with Kagiso Media
  • Event management - Meetings Africa and IMEX: Scan Display Solutions

Once all legal requirements and contracts have been finalised in the next three months, a formal announcement of the agencies will be made.

The global public relations agency will be selected and announced in the next coming months.
