SA work wins abroad

The results from the recent D&AD awards have once again shown that South African work is being increasingly recognised and rewarded by international judging panels. Earlier results from The Clios and One Show, and now the art direction bible, D&AD, have given South Africa its best year to date in endorsed international award festivals.

Net#work BBDO once again claimed top honours, with three entries into the D&AD annual this year. The winning work, across different media disciplines, was created for Virgin Atlantic, which won in the categories of print, an internal inceptive programme for design, and The War Museum, which won in direct mail.

According to Deputy Creative Director, Julian Watt: "We're just having a whole lot of fun doing stuff - it's great when there're other people out there who respond so positively to the work we're doing - particularly when they're esteemed D&AD judges."
