LIA won't accept Russian-based entries

The decsions have been made in the light of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. The LIA is the latest in a long line of advertising award shows that have taken various steps against Russia or/and in support of the Ukraine.

Barbara Levy, President of LIA, says: “The decision to ban Russian submissions was not made lightly. As a company, we do not support unjust aggression of any form and are fully behind all efforts for peace.

"Therefore, we stand in solidarity with Ukraine and its creative community, in the face of tremendous adversity, the depths of which most of us can only imagine.”
