PR-Net: Benefitting from shrinking news rooms

The compound effect of shrinking news rooms and increasingly junior staff replacing expensive seniors at all levels in the media is a threat to quality output and long-term financial success of the industry.

For the PR industry, however, this represents an opportunity for those of us with the journalism skills to create print-ready content.

PR-Net: Benefitting from shrinking news rooms

Beeld's News Editor, Virginia Keppler, will talk to PR-Net over a light breakfast about to maximise this opportunity and, essentially, what constitutes print-ready copy from her perspective.

Our venue is Sappi's Technology Centre in Pretoria. 1 Sydney Brenner street, The Innovation Hub, Pretoria, 0087.

Fee, payable by eft at the time of booking, is R150 per person.
