Meier and McEwen take on social responsibility clients

Meier and McEwen Marketing and Media hold a firm commitment to supporting organisations that aim to bring light and hope to the lives of the less fortunate. As part of their commitment and following their belief in giving back to society, they have recently taken on three further pro bono clients namely Rape Crisis Cape Town, NICRO, and City Mission. In addition to these new clients the agency still continues its prosperous relationship with The Big Issue who have been their social investment client for the past 18 months.

Meier and McEwen first conducted internal research to determine the personal social responsibility convictions of each of its staff members and the end result indicated that women and children issues were of prime concern. Proximity, perceived need for publicity and existing marketing support structures were all factors taken into consideration when selecting these charities. "We will endeavour to build sustainable media relationship on behalf of these organisations, who play such vital roles in our society," said Tina Meier-Carter and Jacki McEwen of Meier & McEwen Marketing and Media consultants.
