Manley Communications gains Mardouw Country House account

Founded in 2000 under the directorship of Lise and Ian Manley, Manley Communications is a company of public relations and publicity consultants specializing in the hospitality, leisure and premier brand industry throughout Southern Africa. They have recently been selected to represent Mardouw Country House olive and wine estate - a luxurious countryside retreat located between the picturesque towns of Swellendam and Ashton in the Western Cape.

The magnificent Cape Georgian home boasts five luxurious suites and is set on the estate once owned by renegade President Hermanus Steyn. The original house has been completely restored to a vibrant and contemporary guest house, on a site steeped in history. Set on a working olive and wine estate, which produces its own rich Pinotage and sparkling Chenin Blanc wines, Mardouw Country House boasts one thousand hectares of scenic groves and vineyards.

Resident executive chef, Karen Smit offers Mardouw Country House guests a unique and exciting fine dining experience. Her inspiration lies in creating interesting dishes from the freshest ingredients which is clearly evident in the tantalising daily set menus on offer.

Whether you simply want to relax, unwind and bask in luxury or explore the location, Mardouw has it all. Activities include several scenic walks and hikes, an infinity pool, a driving range, fishing and mountain bike riding. An 8-seater Vito bus is available for day trips to surrounding areas.
