Gruppo Fabri appoints local distributor

Gruppo Fabbri, a leading manufacturer of Automatic Stretch Wrap and Map machines has appointed Packit as its southern African distributor.

Based in Cape Town, Packit has been supplying packaging consumables and machines since 1972. The company will be offering both Gruppo Fabbri's Elixa and Industrial ranges.

The Elixa machines will wrap from 14 to 35 trays per minute and a range of tray sizes can be wrapped simultaneously. The Industrial range includes machines suited to higher throughputs and harsher production environments, and output varies from 22 to 55 packs per minute.

Gruppo Fabbri has a consolidated turnover of 100 million Euros, employs 600 people, is represented in 62 countries, and has more than 30,000 machines commissioned worldwide.
