Mandela Metro commissions unique city website

The development of a new website for the Nelson Mandela Metropole Municipality (Port Elizabeth) has been awarded to Communications.co.za and Boom Town Advertising after several companies submitted bids for the commission.

"We were looking for something different and invited contenders to submit and present ideas and concepts. The technology proposed by Communications.co.za, which introduces unique audio to elements of the website, prompted us to ask them to form a joint venture with Boom Town Advertising, who brought in some unique creative interactive solutions. Together they will deliver what we believe will be the best city website in the world," says Roland Williams, Communications Manager at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality.
