Statistician

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative statistician to join a professional services department. In this specialist role, you will apply advanced statistical expertise, data science methods, and AI techniques to transform complex data into actionable insights that support both internal strategic goals and client decision-making.

By developing customised, scalable solutions using cutting-edge models and algorithms, you will contribute to improved client outcomes and the long-term success and sustainability of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Data Processors to source the appropriate databases and lists.
• Use statistical methods and data science techniques to analyse quantitative data, ensuring integrity and accuracy.

• Coordinate with GIS and sampling partners to ensure representative and weighted sampling results.
• Apply advanced tools to uncover insights and deliver clear, actionable reporting that supports informed business decisions.
• Strong command of statistical methods (e.g., SPSS, regression, hypothesis testing, experimental design)
• Provide reports that Highlight key actions and business implications, not just technical detail and include purposeful insights with clear recommendations.

Qualifications and experience:

• Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or data science
• 3–5 years of experience in statistical research
• Experience in automated reporting and dashboard development
• Proven experience managing and analysing large datasets
• Experience applying data science techniques
