Are you keen to pursue a SAIPA membership in the future?

Our client, a leading asset finance company seeks to appoint an energetic, detail-oriented Accountant who have just completed their Articles to join their Finance team. You will be given the  opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the Finance and Hospitality industriy and work closely with senior Financial Managers and Chartered Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting duties and bookkeeping tasks for the Group.
• Conduct data capturing and analysing financial statements.
• Process and manage VAT and tax returns.
• Provide support across all accounting functions.
• Collaborate with senior financial managers and accountants on various accounting and financial tasks.

 

Key Requirements:

• Completed Articles. 
• A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
• SAIPA qualification will be advantageous but not essential.  If you are keen to pursue SAIPA then this would be a great opportunity to gain further commercial experience.
• Professional proficiency in Afrikaans.
• Understanding of statutory requirements, e.g. VAT, PAYE, UIF, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and any accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
