Marketing & MediaFrom billboard banner to school bag: Turning waste into opportunity
Go Big Media 12 Oct 2026

Announced on 31 August, the new flavour will initially be available exclusively through vida e caffè from October, as well as through the Revive online store.
For a young brand operating in the increasingly competitive wellness and functional beverage market, the launch reflects a growing focus on community engagement and using direct consumer feedback to inform product development.
“This launch belongs to our community,” says Mark Myerson, CEO of Revive. “When we asked people which flavour they wanted next, Litchi was the clear favourite. We've spent the past few months developing it, testing it and making sure it lived up to expectations. This is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported Revive over the past five years.”
Since launching in 2021, Revive has built a following among runners, gym-goers, wellness enthusiasts and consumers looking for alternatives in the hydration category.
Over the past five years, the brand has expanded its retail footprint while developing a community-led approach to growth. The Litchi launch takes that approach a step further, turning customer preference into a new product.
The brand celebrated the milestone with its 5th Birthday Run, held on Monday, 31 August, at vida e caffè Long Street in Cape Town.
Participants and customers attending the after-work celebration were among the first to experience the new flavour.

The launch also strengthens Revive's relationship with Vida e caffè, introducing a new way for consumers to experience the brand's electrolyte offering.
Alongside the Litchi launch, the Revive Granadilla Frio made its public debut during the birthday event, bringing the electrolyte brand into the café environment through an iced beverage format.
The partnership gives Revive access to another consumer occasion beyond traditional retail and online sales, while placing the brand within the growing intersection of wellness, active lifestyles and everyday food and beverage consumption.
As Revive enters its sixth year, the consumer-voted Litchi flavour signals how the brand plans to continue evolving: by listening to the people who use its products.
For Meyerson and the Revive team, the message behind the fifth birthday launch is a simple one — the customers asked, and the brand responded.
