Setting up a new company with new staff, responsible for all operations, all staff and all commercials.
The industry changed while the principles remained the same. Month on month growth plus expansion into new areas and provinces. Residential, commercial and industrial exposure. Super high pressure environment and responsible for the whole call center. Responsible for the following pipeline: Marketing & Leads acquisition, quotes sent, invoice sent, deposit paid, 1st prep of floor, installation of floor, sealing of floor, after sales and touch-ups. The teams responsible for these tasks all reports into me. The buck ultimately stops with me.
Earned Media Director - Lumen Digital (September 2016 - August 2017)
An opportunity presented itself with a crowd I have known for a long time. We all worked together at Forwardslash (now DOS). They needed skills in Earned Media (SEO, Content and Social). I opened a satellite office in Somerset West, hired 4 people and got cracking on our clients. Our company changed direction after a few months and we decided to outsource these services to focus on a new venture.

After parting ways with The Media Image earlier this year I had the opportunity to start my own business and use the DoubleClick Search platform (provided by TMI) to introduce clients to Programmatic Media Buying and how it can contribute to their lead generation and branding campaigns.
Managing Director - The Media Image (July 2015 - April 2016)
TMI appoints new MD. Brought in to manage the unique dynamic between the UK and SA offices as well as the day to day operational and commercial requirements of the SA office. Key focus was on transforming the P&L model and streamlining the commercial aspect of TMI. I restructured various teams to be more profitable in how we work without the necessity of reducing staff. I believe I have made a very positive impact in a relatively short space of time that I spent at TMI.
Earned Media Director - iProspect (July 2011 - June 2015)
In July of 2011 I was recommended via the Boston iProspect office to the MD of Clickthinking and appointed as Head of the SEO. I quickly built a tightly knit unit of SEO, Social Media and Performance Content experts.
As a member of the Exco at iProspect, complete ownership and commercial growth of my department was a key performance indicator and I grew my annual financial targets 25% year on year, twice beating my annual target. I have had the full respect of my team during my tenure, and have often managed them with empathy as both people and as professionals. The one-on-one relationships I have had with my staff resulted in us still being in contact to this day.
