Key leadership changes at Strategic African Women in Leadership

Strategic African Women in Leadership (SAWIL) has announced that it has made key executive-level appointments and appointed a distinguished board of directors in order to bring together leading industry figures with considerable global and regional experience.

Earlier this year, SAWL founder, Seipati Mokhuoa, took over the executive chairperson role and handed over the CEO role to Dr Tebogo Mashifana, an engineer and a senior lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. The organisation has also appointed Moloko Komane as the executive director for Africa as well as Marie-Rose Daya and Karika Yonreme as country directors for Cameroon and Nigeria respectively.

The new leadership and strategy will allow SAWIL to focus on training, executive coaching, board training, masterclasses, public speaking lessons, golf lessons, networking opportunities and business interventions for its members in entrepreneurship.
