Job description
A busy, retail front, print franchise, requires the skills of a DTP operator to service walk-in customers.- Able to re-touch artwork files
- Prepare artwork files for print
- Styling office documents into printable formats
- Working with digital printing machines
- Face-to-face customer interaction
- Controlling workflow so that jobs are produced on time
- Placing logos and designs into layouts, under client direction
- Creation of job quotes
- Able to finish and bind printed products
Requirements:
- Knowledge and working experience with either Coreldraw or Adobe Creative Suite
- Industry experience required
- Knowledge technical output requirements for litho print and digital print
- A qualification in graphic design is advantageous
- Desktop publishing
- Customer service for retail facing
- Mathematics
- Design and knowledge thereof
