Job description

A well-established commercial real estate business with 20 years of proven success in the market, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our Property Management team. Specialising in retail, office and mixed-use properties we are looking for a proactive, results-orientated individual with strong problem-solving skills and technical insight. 

Role Overview:

As a Property Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. Your role will involve tenant relations, lease administration, property maintenance, budgeting, and ensuring that all properties operate efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of commercial and industrial properties.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure properties meet safety and compliance standards.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets and financial reports.
• Negotiate and enforce lease agreements and ensure timely rent collection.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and manage contractors.
• Conduct regular property inspections and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with local property laws, regulations, and building codes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in commercial and/or industrial property management.
• Strong knowledge of lease terms, accounting principles, and building operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in property management software (MRI).
• Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Degree in Real Estate advantageous.
