Update: Separated twins making good progress

Following a six-hour surgery to separate them, Dr Marleen Engelbrecht, the paediatrician looking after the formerly conjoined twins says she is gratified with their progress. Born at 36 weeks, the two girls are no longer being fed intravenously and their bodily functions are all working healthily.
