Symphony Technology Group launches Trellix, an extended detection and response provider
Symphony Technology Group (STG) has launched Trellix, a new business that enables extended detection and response (XDR) for organisations and accelerates technological innovation through machine learning and automation.
The new company emerges from the merger of McAfee Enterprise and FireEye announced previously.
The new name refers to trellis, a strong framework that supports structured growth of plants and trees. The Trellix brand promises to build resilient and confident organisations through living security - security technology that adapts and learns to protect against the most advanced threats.
