Qualifications and skills:
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12.
• Qualified electrician red seal/trade test and wireman’s license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline driven.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills.
• High level of trustworthiness and ethical conduct.
• The daily physical demands are those required of an electrical assistant.
• The candidate must be physically fit.
• The person will be required to travel to sites.
• The work environment characteristics are those encountered in a typical environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment.
• Pulling in of large cables and termination of cables
• Oversee installation of electrical infrastructure for new builds, upgrades, and expansions.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and certification of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with national electrical codes, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and certifications.
• Lead risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Advise management on electrical infrastructure planning and upgrades.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability projects.
• Provide input into budgets, procurement, and resource allocation for electrical works.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols
