AWS, BlackBerry Limited partner to develop new intelligent vehicle data platform
Amazon.com company, Amazon Web Services (AWS), has announced a multi-year global agreement with intelligent security software and services company, BlackBerry Limited, to develop and market BlackBerry's intelligent vehicle data platform, IVY.
BlackBerry IVY is a scalable, cloud-connected software platform that will enable automakers to provide a consistent and secure way to read vehicle sensor data, normalise it, and create actionable insights from that data both locally in the vehicle and in the cloud.
The platform addresses critical data access, collection, and management problem in the automotive industry and will support multiple vehicles' operating systems and multi-cloud deployments in order to ensure compatibility across vehicle models and brands.
