Suzanne Ackerman-Berman awarded Europcar Women in Leadership Award

Pick n Pay transformation director and Feed the Nation Foundation trustee Suzanne Ackerman-Berman has been awarded the Europcar Women in Leadership Award at the SA Jewish Report Achievers Awards in recognition of the leading role she has played in feeding the nation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The award celebrates the leadership, impact, achievements, success and overall contribution of distinctive women in business or in the broader South African community.

Feed the Nation has raised over R98m and donated more than 23 million meals in the form of food hampers so far to schoolchildren, shelters, old-age homes, orphanages and vulnerable communities during this Covid-19 crisis. The foundation will handover food hampers to over 3,000 child-headed homes by mid-December 2020 as part of its latest initiative.
