Baker & McKenzie appoints top competition lawyer

Vani Chetty, one of the top competition lawyers in Southern Africa, has been appointed as a partner at Baker & McKenzie law firm. Chetty joins the firm's Johannesburg office from her own firm, Vani Chetty Competition Law, which was South Africa's first competition law boutique. Chetty focuses on transactional and advisory competition law issues for a variety of local and international clients in commercial property, financial services, construction, chemicals and the corporate sector.
