La Vierge Wine Estate hosts an Italian evening at Luca's Ristorante
La Vierge, the boutique wine estate in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, treated media to a taste of their special wines while they made and ate their very own pizzas at the Italian restaurant, Luca's. The chef's final decision declared Ingrid Casson and Leila Faffarain from Food and Home magazine as the winners, with Teresa Aldho (Destiny Magazine) and Peter Mokoko (Sabio Communications) coming second.
About La Vierge
The La Vierge wine estate is situated in the exquisite Hemel-en-Aarde Valley outside Hermanus, South Africa. The wines are made from cool-climate grapes which grow on the slopes of the mountain overlooking the town below. The La Vierge also boasts the La Vierge Restaurant, which serves as a beautiful wedding venue.
