StreetSmart SA raises R100 000 for new beneficiary
StreetSmart SA, an organisation dedicated to helping street children rebuild their lives through donations from restaurants in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Helderberg and Franschhoek, has handed over R100 000 to their new Stellenbosch beneficiary, Home from Home.
Home from Home provides supported and supervised foster care for abandoned
and vulnerable children in small family homes in their own communities. The money raised by StreetSmart will fund family reunification services, education and provide support to the foster mothers in Kayamandi and Cloetesville.
