2011 Absolut Visi designer of the year awards
ABSOLUT Vodka, once again showcased its marketing genius and ability to pay tribute to contemporary culture at the the 2011 ABSOLUT VISI Designer of the Year Awards.
This is the fifth year that the iconic ABSOLUT has partnered with VISI to host the annual Oscars of the design world; a fitting alliance for a cutting edge brand that never disappoints in terms of design and creative expression.
The culmination of this ABSOLUTely glitzy party, which rocked the Chavonnes Battery Museum at the V&A Waterfront, was the awards ceremony, where international trends forecaster Li Edelkoort announced architects, Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, as the 2011 winners, for their work on the Braamfontein precinct in Johannesburg.
