Men's Health Look 2007
Mark Pearce, from Port Elizabeth, has been named the winner of the Men's Health Look 2007 at an unforgettable event at Workshop 17, at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on 18 October 2007. First runner-up was Capetonian, Lushwill Rossouw, with Nic Burden from Pietermaritzburg walking away with the second runner-up position.
Pearce is a role model who has the drive to achieve his goals against whatever odds he may face. He was one of 10 finalists from a countrywide search. With the coveted Men's Health
Look title, Pearce wins himself R20 000 in cash and will be considered for the cover of the magazine.
After being selected, all finalists spent an action-packed, physically and mentally challenging three-day extreme adventure in the Drakensberg, which concluded on Durban's beachfront with a strongman competition. Men's Health annually searches for the ultimate South African man - he is fit, lives a balanced lifestyle and is not afraid of taking risks. This programme rewards men who manage to balance friends, family, relationships, finance and a career while still remembering to spend time on their health and wellbeing.
