In a gesture of goodwill designed to help its customers kick-start their new year, Wimpy gave away just over 68 000 Streaky Bacon breakfasts, that is 135 000 eggs, 135 000 rashers of bacon and 68 000 slices of toast at participating Wimpy restaurants nationwide as part of its special FREE breakfast promotion on the 19 of January 2012.
