New Guinness World Record set
According to the verdict of Guinness World Record officials, South Africa, and more specifically Emperors Palace Hotel Casino Convention and Entertainment Resort and Kia Motors have the biggest soccer ball of them all.
Emperors Palace Resort and Kia Motors South Africa have the "World's Biggest Football" as announced on Monday 05 July 2010 by Robert Malloy of Guinness World Records. The decision was made at Emperors Palace Resort where an official adjudicator Malloy and a quantity surveyor assessed the ball and confirmed that the Emperors Palace and Kia ball is now the record holder. The giant ball resting on the Chariots Fountain at Emperors Palace is over 15m high and weighs 650kg.
