Positive Heroes Unique Fashion Event
Positive Heroes Unique Fashion Event, held early in October, at The Runway in Woodstock has raised more than R85,000.
The event attracted some of South Africa's best-known designers, including Gavin Rajah, Stiaan Louw, KLûK CGDT, Maya Prass, Craig Port, Hip Hop, X&O and many others. More than 400 people attended, including many of Cape Town's fashionistas who came to support Positive Heroes and the important work they are doing in reducing stigma and normalising HIV.
Items donated by each designer were expertly auctioned off by MCQP's Ian McMahon and CNBC's Talia Sanhewe. Items included additional contributions from Levi Strauss, Jasper Conran, Barbara Jackson, Carol Boyes, Jacques Azagury and others.
The event was sponsored by MANGO Airlines, Sirius Productions, Blend Eventlife, Peroni and Nestle.
