MpowerFM turns 2
To celebrate the provincial radio station's second birthday, MpowerFM hosted two big birthday parties on Friday 4 December and gave away a Chevrolet Aveo Hatch, courtesy of Kohler Auto Witbank.
News Cafe Nelspruit and News Cafe Witbank sponsored the venues and food for both parties and they were a roaring success. Cumulatively there were over 240 VIP guests, staff and on-air ticket winners.
The MpowerFM Power breakfast show presenters Mio and Queenie MC'd the Nelspruit party whilst the Afternoon Drive show presenters David Watts and Samantha Jagger MC'd in Witbank. The draw for the car happened live on air at 19:45 with all the fortunate key holders present at both venues. Stabilis Incorporated were the auditors for the draw.
The lucky winner was Theo de Beer of Dullstroom with key number 37 at the Nelspruit party.
